Traviis is a self-guided audio walking tour service operated by 17116641 Canada Inc., a Canadian federal corporation doing business as Traviis. Tours are delivered via web browser on your own GPS-enabled device. By using Traviis, you agree to these terms.
We provide audio narrations triggered automatically by your device's GPS as you walk through covered tour areas. Some tours are free; others require a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions.
Tours rely on your device's location services, audio output, and internet connection (initial load). Once a tour is loaded, most narration plays without further internet access.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. After successful payment, you receive access to the bundle you purchased — one bundle = one or more named tours, described at checkout.
Prices shown at checkout are final and inclusive of any applicable taxes shown there. We may adjust prices over time; changes only affect future purchases.
Full refund if requested within 24 hours of purchase and no narration has been triggered.
After 24 hours, or once any narration has been played, refunds are evaluated case-by-case. We're reasonable about technical issues, accidental purchases, and circumstances beyond your control. Email [email protected] with your purchase email and a brief explanation.
Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
Traviis does not require account creation. Your purchase is associated with the email you provide at checkout, and access is granted via a browser cookie. If you lose access, you can request a recovery email — see our support page.
Access tokens are tied to the bundle you purchased, on the device/browser where the recovery link was clicked. Access is intended for personal, non-commercial use by the purchaser.
Audio narrations, route data, maps, photographs, and tour copy are the intellectual property of Traviis or its licensors. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non- transferable license to use the content for your own enjoyment while walking the tour.
You may not record, download, redistribute, or commercially use the audio or any other tour content without our written permission.
Use Traviis sensibly. You're responsible for your own safety while walking — watch for traffic, follow local laws, respect private property, and don't trespass to reach a narration point. Audio should not distract you from your surroundings.
Don't try to circumvent access controls, scrape audio files, or share access credentials with others. Doing so terminates your access without refund.
Traviis is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, remove, or modify tours over time.
GPS triggers depend on your device, satellite visibility, and local conditions. Some narration points may not trigger reliably in dense urban canyons or indoors.
Traviis is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traviis is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the service — including navigation errors, missed narration points, audio delivery failures, or actions you take while walking.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the bundle in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where reasonably possible, by email to existing customers. Your continued use of Traviis after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
